Honoured to be part of “Pink Conversations”, an inspiring and awareness-driven dialogue on Breast Cancer Awareness, organized by cloud11agency in Startup Pakistan in collaboration with Riphah Institute of Hospitality & Culinary Arts (RIHCA).

As a Consultant Clinical Psychologist & Family Therapist, I shared insights on the psychological and emotional aspects of breast cancer, emphasizing the need to support women beyond diagnosis — addressing fear, trauma, body image, marital adjustment, and self-worth restoration during treatment and recovery.

These dialogues remind us that healing is not just medical — it’s mental, emotional, and deeply human.
Grateful to the organizing team and all the brave survivors and advocates who continue to turn awareness into empathy and action. 🌷

Pinktober highlights

🎀 Breast Cancer Awareness Session — NIC Islamabad

Honoured to be invited as a Guest Speaker by Ms. Maliha and the SAAR’s team, in collaboration with Shaukat Khanum Memorial Cancer Hospital, National Incubation Center Islamabad, and WAI.

It was an insightful and compassionate session joined by Dr. Saeeda, Breast Cancer Surgeon from Shifa International Hospital, and Dr. Erum Kalsom, Gynecologist from City Hospital. Together, we highlighted the psychological, emotional, and relational dimensions of breast cancer care.

I shared how mental-health support plays a vital role in healing journeys — from diagnosis to recovery, helping women and families cope with fear, body image, intimacy, and resilience with compassion and hope.

Deep gratitude to the brave breast-cancer warriors who shared their stories of courage and strength — a true reminder that healing is not only medical, but emotional and spiritual too. 💖

PINKTOBER Highlights:

💗 Breast Cancer Awareness — Healing the Body, Empowering the Mind

Honoured to be invited by the Women Welfare & Development Centre (Ministry of Human Rights) to participate in the Breast Cancer Awareness Seminar & Medical Camp held on 23rd October 2025 at G-7/1, Islamabad.

Through our Psy Sobia Khateeb Family Clinic stall, we highlighted the psychosexual and psychosocial dimensions of breast cancer — encouraging young women to normalize conversations around their bodies, self-examination, and emotional well-being.

During the participatory guest session, I shared key insights on:
🌸 Understanding body image and self-acceptance as part of recovery.
🌸 Recognizing the emotional and relational challenges faced by cancer survivors.
🌸 Encouraging women to seek timely psychological and psychosexual support without shame or fear.
🌸 Emphasizing that “Don’t hide — share and heal together” must be part of every cancer journey.
🌸 The essential role of mental-health integration in family and spouse-based cancer care.

It was inspiring to meet and collaborate with health professionals, social welfare representatives, and community advocates dedicated to advancing women’s health and rights.

Together, we continue to advocate for holistic cancer care — one that addresses both body and mind.

🌍 World Mental Health Day 2025 — Celebrated with Froebel’s International Students

This year, we had the privilege to celebrate World Mental Health Day with the bright and energetic students of Froebel’s International.

The session was filled with warmth, learning, and engagement — students actively participated in discussions, short interactive quizzes, and self-care reflections. They also enjoyed fun activities, received small appreciation gifts from the speaker, and explored personality assessments designed to help them understand themselves better.

Our focus was on mental health awareness, emotional wellbeing, and self-care management in today’s fast-paced digital era. What was planned as a brief awareness session turned into an extended, deeply engaging dialogue — reflecting the students’ genuine curiosity and enthusiasm toward understanding mental health.

A heartfelt thank you to the Froebel’s administration, Principal, and Administrative Lead for inviting Psy Sobia Khateeb Family Clinic to be part of this meaningful initiative, and to Brig. Asif Ali, Executive Director of PSKFC and founder of Ninja Turtle, for accompanying and supporting this campaign.

Psy Sobia Khateeb Family Clinic (PSKFC) is seeking a motivated and professional Administrative & Communication Coordinator to manage office administration, client communication, social media uploads, and coordination tasks. This role is ideal for a candidate with strong organizational skills, professionalism, and a background in IT, Healthcare, or Business.

Key Responsibilities

Office & Administrative Support

Maintain filing systems (digital & physical) and organize official documents.

Manage day-to-day office operations and scheduling of meetings/sessions.

Client Communication & Coordination

Handle phone, WhatsApp, and email communication with clients.

Draft professional responses, manage bookings, cancellations, and follow-ups.

Social Media & Digital Support

Upload and schedule posts, reels, and stories on Instagram, Facebook, YouTube, and LinkedIn.

Maintain content calendars and monitor basic engagement.

Reporting & Program Assistance

Maintain session logs, invoices, and payment records.

Support clinic programs, workshops, and seminars, including occasional inter-city travel with the team lead for events.

Requirements

Education: Minimum Bachelor’s degree (IT, Healthcare, or Business preferred).

Experience: At least 1 year in healthcare facilities, office administration, or related field.

Gender & Age: Female, 22–29 years old.

Skills: Strong communication, filing, digital media handling, and client coordination skills.

Work Days & Hours: Monday to Thursday, 8:00 AM – 4:00 PM.

Location: On-site at Abu Bakar Block, Phase 8, Bahria Town, Rawalpindi.

Flexibility: Occasional inter-city travel with the team lead for events may be required.
