COMSATS University Islamabad (CUI) invites applications from interested candidates for the following positions in the Department of Computer Science under Higher Education Commission funded Research Project in AI-driven diagnostics titled: “Medical Imaging and Diagnostics Lab, (NCAI)” as per following details:

Research Associate
Qualification:
MS in relevant field or BS (CS/AI/DS/SE) with 1-year relevant experience.
Responsibilities:
Research associate will be the core worker for performing R&D for medical imaging using AI. Will keep track of KPIs and help the PI and the Co-PIs in meeting them.
Specialization:
Core Areas*.

Research Associates
Qualification:
MS in relevant field or BS (CS/AI/DS/SE) with 1-year relevant experience.
Responsibilities:
Will be a full stack developer, responsible for the development products for the lab.
Specialization:
Core Areas*.

Research Assistant
Qualification:
BS in SE/CS with experience of performing production documentation, QA, proposal writing. Must possess good writing skills.
Responsibilities:
Will assist PI & Co-PIs in documentation.

Business development manager
Qualification:
Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Economics, Business Administration, Commerce, and/or 3+ years of sales experience of a similar product in the healthcare industry will be preferred.
Strong understanding of technological aspects of software products, financial markets, and wealth management principles.
Excellent communication skills with the ability to explain AI-based diagnostics systems in the healthcare domain and complex financial concepts clearly and concisely.
Demonstrated ability to build and maintain client relationships based on trust, integrity, and professionalism.
Responsibilities:
The role involves ensuring the lab's sustainability by developing and implementing business models, marketing and promoting AI-based tools created in the lab, driving sales, and identifying new opportunities for AI-driven innovation and development. Additionally, the responsibilities include assisting the Principal Investigator (PI) and Co-Principal Investigators (Co-PIs) in managing the lab's social media platforms to enhance its online presence.

*Core Areas: Artificial Intelligence, Deep Learning, Image Processing, Computer Vision, and/or Marketing/Finance.

of the federal capital’s Bhara Kahu area, which will provide free cervical-cancer screening and breast cancer screening to 10,000 Pakistani women in its first phase of operation.

Pakistan’s Ministry of National Health Services Regulations and Coordination is considering equipping more hospitals in Pakistan with such AI devices, and software's for early screening of the fatal diseases.
