Ghouri Medical Complex - Free For Poor

Population of Pakistan is increasing with the greater percentage and resources are getting scanty with every passing day. Medical facilities are also being affected and good medical care for poor people is becoming a rare commodity in Pakistan. A good medical care is the basic right of every citizen of Pakistan irrespective of its financial status. It would be pertinent to mention that like many other causes of extremism in society unjust medical care and lack of medical facilities to unprivileged and poor segment of society is one major reason. This arise a strong need of private hospitals with modern technology and better infrastructure, to cater for this short come and take a step ahead to shoulder the responsibilities of Government by providing quality health care to the unprivileged segment of the society without any cost. In this regard an initiative has been taken up by a group of Retd Army Officer with the name of Ghaury Medical Complex (GMC) to provide the poor people with free medical treatment and medication.

Facilities. GMC Provides following facilities free of cost to all the unprivileged and poor masses: a. A complete team of Drs including Medical Specialist, Gynecologist, Eye Specialist & Dentist is working for the noble cause with the team of 6 x efficient Para Medical Staff supported by officers at administrative and managerial role. b. GMC is having a capacity of 10 patients detainment in a general ward. c. The outdoor facilities include a Diagnostic Clinic consisting of Medical Laboratory, alongwith an effective Pharmacy and a Computerized Hospital Management System (HMS). d. Widows, Orphans, Transgender, Poor and Unprivileged are issued with different color code cards as their identification and every card holds percentage of discount offered as per the financial status of the patient. The color codes are RED=FREE, GREEN=50% and BLUE=25%. e. Even if any walk through patient desirous of having medical treatment and is not having money to pay he or she is entertained without any investigation and is given best medical treatment and free of cost medicines, even his or her all tests are done without any charges. f. Frequent Free Medical Camps (FMCs) are organized by the Ghaury Medical Complex and in the short span of 6 months 3 different free.
