This , we look back at one of the most impactful journeys we have been part of - British Council’s ILMPossible: Take a Child to School (TACS), where School of Leadership Foundation proudly served as the implementing partner.

Launched in 2014 with the goal of enrolling 185,000 out-of-school children, the programme went on to achieve far more - by the end of Phase II, 471,269 children from Pakistan’s most rural and remote areas had been enrolled, with a retention rate of over 75%.

The programme’s strength lay in its community-driven model: 30,000 trained youth volunteers, 884 Mohalla Committees, and 24 partner organisations worked hand in hand to bring children into classrooms, keep them engaged through initiatives like the DOSTI life skills curriculum, and mobilise parents, teachers, and local influencers to champion education.

On this International Literacy Day, we celebrate the spirit of ILMPossible - a reminder that literacy is not just about opening classroom doors, but about creating lasting change in lives and communities.

On this , we’re looking back at a milestone we’re proud of! Hifazat has been more than just an app; it has been a movement to make conversations around reproductive health open, safe, and accessible. By combining digital innovation with community insight, we built a space where young people and adults can find clarity, trust, and confidence.

As we look back at the journey, we are reminded of why initiatives like Hifazat matter, because informed choices lead to empowered lives. Have you explored Hifazat yet? Scan the QR or click the link in bio to download the app today.

In these times of devastating floods and rising climate change impacts across Pakistan, we turn to the mountains of Gilgit-Baltistan, where three young boys are doing the unimaginable. With their own hands, they are building artificial glaciers to restore what climate change has taken away. Watch as the Siachen Sherpa team — a project supported by UNICEF Pakistan and SoLF — shares their journey and their vision for a future where water is a source of hope, not turmoil.

A reflection on ISMF under SHAMS, where adolescents learned to recognize emotional struggles in their peers and respond using the simple steps of Look, Listen, Link. These school sessions helped build a culture of empathy and everyday mental health support among students—creating safe spaces where no one feels alone.

A glimpse into how conversations became action.

SHAMS began by helping adolescents understand their own mental health, what they feel, why it matters, and how to talk about it. With that awareness, they stepped into their communities and led Wellbeing Action Projects through games, art, and dialogue, making mental health visible, relatable, and shared.

On this International Youth Day, let’s take a glimpse into how SoLF has brought young voices to the forefront in past celebrations. From creating spaces where ideas turn into impact to spotlighting changemakers tackling real challenges, these moments have been about more than events. They have been about building connections, sparking dialogue, and inspiring action that lasts beyond the day. Your voice matters in shaping what comes next—how will you be part of the change?

Reflecting on theatre performances under SHAMS, conducted by Tehrik-e-Niswan, where powerful performances brought conversations about mental health to life for both adolescents and caregivers.

Across communities, stories unfolded on stage, breaking the silence around emotional struggles, encouraging empathy, and helping families understand how to support one another. Theatre became more than a performance — it became a mirror, a dialogue, and a spark for change.

On this World Environment Day, we reflect on the resilience witnessed during SHAMS Phase 1 in 2022, when we conducted impactful sessions in the remotest flood-affected areas of Balochistan and Sindh.

Amidst devastating floods, SHAMS engaged over 10,000 individuals, focusing on mental health awareness and self-care in deeply affected communities. These sessions became lifelines, promoting healing and connection for displaced families. Let’s honor the link between mental health and environmental resilience, empowering communities to rebuild with hope.
