Tips for patients having kidney stones.
1. Drink 2.5 to 3 litres of water during whole day.
2.Less use of red meat, leafy vegetables and rice.
3.Avoid stress and do regular exercise.
4. Avoid holding urine.
5.Treatment and regular follow up of comorbidities like diabtese, hypertension and obesity etc.

Is partial cystectomy viable alternative option for cystectomy and diversion in our set up?

Case. 45 year old female underwent lL) Nephrectomy in a tertiary care setting four months back. Her haematuria persisted. CT done showed bladder mass and mass in ureter Fig 1.
Cystoscopy revealed mass left posterolateral wall. Fig. 2.
Exploration was done. Partial cystectomy and ureterectomy was done. Fig 3.Post op. course was uneventful. Patient is free of haematuria.
Conclusion. Always do nephroureterctomy along with removal of cuff of bladder in case of renal pelvic mass.
