Alliance For Diabetes And Liver Diseases (ADLD) represents the interests of the growing number of people with diabetes and liver diseases and those at risk of developing disease. This Alliance has various components, one of which is Center For Diabetes and Liver Disease (CDLD) in islamabad. It is a Dedicated Health Care Facility which provides Quality health Care services and Procedures. The Aims and Objectives of the Alliance are :
To promote diabetes care, prevention and cure. To promote awareness of diabetes, its impact on people and its burden on national economies at global, regional, national and local levels. To facilitate, advocate and promote public awareness of liver disease education and to support and research for the prevention, treatment and cure of liver disease. To mobilise public demand for action both nationally and internationally. To influence policy and encourage health improvement. To promote the exchange of high quality information about diabetes,
To provide education for people with diabetes and their healthcare providers. To recognize and be prepared to meet the ongoing medical, financial and support needs of those with chronic illnesses, such as diabetes and Liver diseases. Advocacy Leadership Forum. One of the key pillars of our advocacy strategy is our commitment to informing and educating governments, decision makers, stakeholders, media and the general public on the issues affecting people living with diabetes and liver disease . To raise funds through contribution from governmental and non governmental organizations for the purpose of achieving the various objectives of alliance. To secure , recieve, accept and manage funds , donations, grants , endowements within and outside Pakistan from the government , semi government , non government organizations, corporation, institutions,Trusts, foundations,etc and to acquire any movable and immovable property or to purchaise or recieve as donations and to utilize them for furthering and promoting the aims and objectives of Alliance. To open account with any scheduled banks , in or outside Pakistan, in any currency , in the name of the alliance and to manage borrowing funds or loans from such banks or finantial institutions , as and when necessary. To execute all such acts and things as may be deemed necessary or expedient for the aims and objectives of the alliance .
