To all parents: If your kid gets even a minute scratch from a dog, cat or monkey, and even if it is not bleeding, still immediately get the first dose of Rabies vaccine done within 24 hrs. Rabies vaccine has a 100% efficacy rate but rabies disease has a 100% fatality rate.

Also ask your kids to always inform you if anything like this ever happens. I so wish this kid would have informed his parents about the incident.

News: A 14-year-old boy died in Ghaziabad on Monday due to rabies. The boy was bitten by a dog over a month ago but he allegedly did not tell his parents about it. 😔
