▪️ Common symptoms of hepatitis include loss of appetite, sudden weight loss, yellow stools, dark urine, flu symptoms, fatigue, abdominal pain, yellow skin and eyes can appear as symptoms of jaundice.
▪️Hepatitis A and Hepatitis E are short-term diseases, while Hepatitis B, C, D are long-term and chronic forms of the disease.
▪️Hepatitis E is usually self-limiting but can be dangerous for a pregnant woman.
▪️Due to lack of awareness, millions of people around the world are losing their lives to this deadly viral infection.
▪️Hepatitis is curable but only when treated at the right time. People should commit to creating awareness about hepatitis
▪️People should be encouraged to get tested and get the right diagnosis and treatment at the right time.
▪️Vaccines play an important role in preventing the disease and are available to prevent the development of hepatitis A and B.
▪️ On this World Hepatitis Day, we must pledge to promote hepatitis prevention, diagnosis and treatment.
We will help hepatitis patients and make our environment conducive.

In line with to raise awareness about dengue Dr. Ghulam Murtaza (DMS) and Dr. Saddam Hussain led the awareness sessions. Doctors, Nurses and Paramedics, NMS team, and number of General public also participated in the activity.
Public awareness messages were distributed through brochures and cards, emphasizing the importance of collective efforts to eradicate dengue from Pakistan. We are hopeful for a dengue-free Pakistan!
