ڈاکٹر جاوید شیخ صاحب کسی تعارف کے محتاج نہیں۔ آپ ضلع جھنگ کے ایک پسماندہ گاؤں نیکو کارہ، تحصیل احمد پور سیال میں 1960 میں پیدا ہوئے۔ ابتدائی تعلیم اپنے گاؤں سے حاصل کی، اور پھر گورنمنٹ کالج جھنگ سے ایف ایس سی (پری میڈیکل) امتیازی نمبروں کے ساتھ پاس کر کے نشتر میڈیکل کالج میں داخلہ حاصل کیا۔ یہ اُن کی زندگی کا ایک عظیم خواب تھا جو اللہ تعالیٰ کے فضل، والدین کی دعاؤں اور قابل اساتذہ کی رہنمائی سے شرمندۂ تعبیر ہوا۔

سن 1983 میں آپ نے ایم بی بی ایس کی ڈگری حاصل کی اور باقاعدہ "نشترئین" کہلائے، جو ایک اعزاز کی بات سمجھی جاتی ہے۔ آپ کو یہ اعزاز بھی حاصل ہے کہ آپ ضلع جھنگ کے پہلے ایف سی پی ایس سرجن بنے، جو بلاشبہ جھنگ کے لیے ایک فخر کا مقام ہے۔

ڈاکٹر صاحب نے اپنی عملی خدمات کا آغاز ڈی ایچ کیو اسپتال جھنگ سے کیا اور جلد ہی اپنی قابلیت، محنت، اخلاق اور تجربے کی بنیاد پر ضلع جھنگ کے ممتاز ترین سرجنوں میں شمار ہونے لگے۔

آپ کی زوجہ محترمہ بھی جھنگ کی معروف گائناکالوجسٹ ہیں اور ایک باوقار طبی خدمات کا حصہ ہیں۔ آج کل ڈاکٹر صاحب کا اپنا نجی اسپتال "شِفا میڈیکل سینٹر" کے نام سے نواز چوک، ایس ایس پی روڈ جھنگ پر دن رات مریضوں کی خدمت میں مصروفِ عمل ہے۔

ڈاکٹر جاوید شیخ صاحب نہ صرف ایک ماہر اور قابل سرجن ہیں بلکہ ایک شاندار اور بااخلاق شخصیت کے مالک بھی ہیں۔ خوش گفتار، خوش اخلاق، مریضوں کے ساتھ شفقت، نرمی اور دلی توجہ دینا آپ کی انفرادی پہچان ہے۔ مریضوں کی خدمت اور نگہداشت میں آپ کا کوئی ثانی نہیں۔

The Punjab Healthcare Commission (PHC) issued a directive under Section 4(2)(o) of the PHC Act 2010 to all public and private hospitals, laboratories and diagnostic centres to report any confirmed or suspected HIV/AIDS cases identified through diagnostic tests to the HIV/AIDS treatment centres within 24 hours of diagnosis. This also applies to all units, including pathology departments, dialysis units, emergency wards, and outpatient departments. Moreover, they have been directed to ensure the confidentiality of the patient data. They have also been warned against non-compliance, which may result in penalties including fines and potential closure of services.

This directive aims to ensure timely reporting, confidentiality, and accountability in managing HIV/AIDS cases.
