A Tribute to Three Noble Souls
With deep sorrow and a heavy heart, we share the passing of Chaudhary Mushtaq Hussain, a dear friend of my late father Mushtaq Hussain Bargatt. This loss comes not long after the demise of their third lifelong companion, Colonel (R) Mushtaq Ahmad.
All three are now united in the eternal realm, friends in life, friends in the Hereafter. Their absence leaves not only a void in our hearts and families, but also marks a profound loss for Mian Muhammad Bukhsh Trust.
These three founding trustees laid the foundation of the Trust with unwavering dedication. From vision to action, from dreams to service, they stood firm, shoulder to shoulder, in their mission to uplift the poor and underprivileged rural communities of Jhelum. They worked day and night, not for name or recognition, but for the pleasure of Allah and the betterment of humanity.
Their legacy lives on in every life the Trust touches, every patient healed, every child educated, and every home that found hope again. The Trust and all its beneficiaries remain forever indebted to their sincerity and service.
“خُدا کرے تہاڈی قبر روشن ہووے، تہاڈا ناں صدقے جاری رہوے۔”
قرآن پاک میں فرمایا گیا ہے:
“إِنَّ ٱلَّذِينَ آمَنُوا۟ وَعَمِلُوا۟ ٱلصَّـٰلِحَـٰتِ كَانَتْ لَهُمْ جَنَّـٰتُ ٱلْفِرْدَوْسِ نُزُلًۭا” — [الكهف: 107]
“Indeed, those who have believed and done righteous deeds, they will have the Gardens of Paradise as a lodging.”
Let us remember their efforts and honor them through our continued work for the poor and marginalized. As Mian Muhammad Bakhsh beautifully said:
“جیہڑا بندا خیر کمائے،
اوہدا ناں نہ مر دا جائے۔”
(He who does good for others, his name never dies.)
May Allah grant Chaudhary Mushtaq Hussain, Mushtaq Hussain Bargatt, and Colonel (R) Mushtaq Ahmad the highest rank in Jannat-ul-Firdous. Ameen. Their friendship was a bond of brotherhood in this world, and now a bond of peace in the Hereafter.
