DIG South Zone Syed Asad Raza Visits Drug Rehabilitation Centers in South Zone
Today, DIG South visited Parvarish Rehabilitation Center located in Clifton and Benazir ANF Hospital situated in Lyari.
The purpose of the visit was to observe the rehabilitation and treatment of individuals suffering from drug addiction and to explore ways to prevent their relapse into drug use.
During meetings with the directors of the rehabilitation centers, discussions were held regarding the areas where drug abuse is most prevalent.
Information was also gathered about the social segments where the rate of drug usage and supply is significantly high.
DIG South interacted with the staff and patients at the rehabilitation centers and inquired about the treatment methods being employed.
He emphasized that the judiciary, police, and rehabilitation institutions are integral parts of a unified system aimed at eradicating the menace of drugs from society.
In conclusion, DIG South expressed gratitude to the management of the rehabilitation centers and assured them of his full support.
