The society which has evolved from Arthroscopy Forum is committed to delivering a platform of excellence to its members. Prior to becoming a society, POA Arthroscopy Forum was established in 2014 with an aim to develop arthroscopy and sports surgery in Pakistan. The forum organized a series of hands-on skills workshops on Arthroscopic techniques and sports surgery across Pakistan. Today, it is a p

In collaboration with Pakistan Arthroscopy & Sports Surgery Society, a hands-on workshop was curated to understand the Arthroscopic Procedures under the leadership of Dr. Sajjad H. Orakzai, Consultant Orthopedic Surgery, Shifa International Hospitals Ltd, Islamabad.
Subjects covered in the lecture series ranged from Cruciate ligaments, chondral defects, shoulder instability, adhesive capsulitis, revision surgery to future treatment in arthroscopy. This was followed by live surgery to demonstrate ACL reconstruction and partial meniscectomy by Dr. Sajjad.
There was extremely healthy debate and interaction on these subjects, which was appreciated both by participants and faculty members.
