Florence Nightingale, the founder of modern nursing, was born on May 12, 1820. She greatly reduced death rates in the Crimean War by improving hygiene and living standards.
She became known as the "Lady with the Lamp" while making rounds of the wounded at night.

In her honor, International Nurses Day is celebrated on her birthday. She established professional nursing with her school at St Thomas' Hospital in London. The Nightingale Pledge taken by new nurses, and the Florence Nightingale Medal - the highest international distinction a nurse may receive - are named in her honor. Thank you to our nurses.

جو ایک ڈاکٹر صاحب نے بتایا۔ ڈاکٹر صاحب پنڈی کے ایک غریب محلے میں کلینک کرتے تھے۔ ایک خاتون ان کے کلینک میں آئی ۔

ڈآکٹر صاحب نے پوچھا کیا مسئلہ ھے۔ کہنے لگی ڈاکٹر صاحب میرا ایمان بڑا کمزور ھے۔ ڈاکٹر صاحب بڑے حیران ھوے کہ اس خاتون کو تو کسی عالم دین کے پاس جانا چاہیے میرے پاس کیوں آئی ھی۔ پھر خاتون نے کہا کہ میں دودھ بھی دیتی ھوں اور انڈے بھی۔ ڈاکٹر صاحب مزید حیران ہوئے یہ کونسی مخلوق ہے کہ انڈے بھی دیتی ہے۔

پھر اس خاتون نے اپنے ایک سال کے بچے'ایمان' کو آگے کیا اور کہنے لگی ڈاکٹر صاحب دودھ اور انڈے دینے کہ باوجود میرا ایمان اتنا کمزور کیوں ھے ؟

👉 During dialysis, the blood from the body goes to the dialysis machine through the red tube and comes back clean through the blue tube and thus has to stay in bed without movement for 4 hours. Kidney failure patients have to undergo dialysis three times a week which means 12 times a month and 4 hours each time for a total of 48 hours. For those of us who are healthy, our kidneys clean our blood automatically 36 times a day without any pain. Have you ever realized that we are alive with the mercy of Allah Ta'ala?
