When I called my sister after she had just given a presentation in her PTCC class she gave me a gentle reminder I needed: children are people of paradise. 💛
When I shifted my mindset from “controlling behavior” to “understanding innocence,” everything changed—my patience, my reactions, and our relationship. 🌸
I used to feel so calm with babies… but so triggered by toddlers. 😮‍💨
Then I realized: they’re not being “difficult”—they’re learning, growing, and still pure.
This mindset shift is healing me and my parenting.
The problem wasn’t my child… it was my perspective.
When I started seeing my child as pure and innocent, my parenting became gentler—and our bond became stronger. 🌿🤍
Children are a trust from Allah and people of paradise. 🤍
Ya Allah, soften our hearts, give us sabr, and help us raise them with mercy. Ameen. 🌙✨

Last year, We joined AMANI Academy Cohort 1, a 40-week journey that transformed us as doulas and childbirth educators. It wasn’t always easy to commit, but the experience elevated our professionalism, efficiency, and compassion in serving mothers.
