Medical community around the world observes Nov 14 as World Diabetes Day. But I want to remind patients with diabetes that for you, every day is Diabetes Day... and they need to be observed!
The first few years are critical. Good sugar control in the first few years gives you long lasting protection against complications in future.
Just do the following things...
1. Regular exercise
2. Healthy, low carb diet
3. Weight control - lose if you need to
4. Monitor your sugar regularly
5. Follow up with your doctor to adjust medicnes to keep sugar in control
..And you can have a Healthy Life despite having Diabetes !
