World Thalassemia Day is celebrated every year on May 8th to commemorate Thalassemia victims and to encourage those who struggle to live with the disease. Help International Welfare Trust and Help Volunteer Program have a shared vision of Thalassemia Major Free Pakistan. As an awareness raising initiative and behavior change campaign, HIWT in collaboration with some leading organizations of Pakistan is organizing a Walk for a Cause on 8th May.
