Success story of a Neonate with Diaphragmatic Hernia.

The most satisfying thing for a doctor is to send a baby home healthy.

Baby ..... was diagnosed with congenital diaphragmatic hernia (CDH) during a prenatal ultrasound at 24 weeks. Born at 37 weeks via planned cesarean, she struggled to breathe and was immediately intubated to protect her lungs. She was stabilized in the NICU with gentle ventilation.

At 72 hours old, Noor underwent successful surgery to reposition her abdominal organs and repair the diaphragmatic defect. Post-surgery, she was gradually weaned off the ventilator and transitioned to feeding by mouth.

After 10 weeks, Noor was discharged home, healthy and breathing on her own.

ڈینگی بخار سے آگاہی: اپنے اور اپنے پیاروں کو محفوظ رکھیں

ڈینگی بخار ایک مچھر سے پھیلنے والی بیماری ہے جو وقت پر احتیاط نہ کرنے سے شدید بیماری کا باعث بن سکتی ہے۔ اس سے بچاؤ کے لئے چند اہم اقدامات یہ ہیں:

1. پانی جمع ہونے سے روکیں: مچھر کھڑے پانی میں پرورش پاتے ہیں، اس لیے برتنوں، گملوں اور بالٹیوں میں جمع پانی کو باقاعدگی سے خالی کریں۔

2. مچھر بھگانے والا اسپرے استعمال کریں: خاص طور پر صبح اور شام کے وقت کھلی جلد پر مچھر بھگانے والا لوشن لگائیں۔

3. حفاظتی کپڑے پہنیں: باہر نکلتے وقت لمبی آستینوں اور پتلون کا انتخاب کریں، خاص طور پر طلوع اور غروبِ آفتاب کے وقت۔

4. مچھر دانیاں استعمال کریں: ممکن ہو تو مچھر دانیاں یا دروازوں اور کھڑکیوں پر جالیاں لگائیں۔

5. پانی زیادہ پیئیں: ڈینگی بخار سے پانی کی کمی ہوسکتی ہے، اس لئے اگر آپ کو بخار محسوس ہو تو زیادہ پانی پئیں۔

اگر آپ یا آپ کے خاندان کے کسی فرد میں تیز بخار، شدید سر درد، جوڑوں میں درد یا جلد پر دھبے نظر آئیں تو فوراً طبی مدد حاصل کریں۔ بروقت تشخیص اور علاج سے صحت یابی ممکن ہے۔

Successful Case of a 5-Year-Old from Khuzdar

Recently, a 5-year-old boy from Khuzdar visited our clinic with a persistent fever of unknown origin. His family had tried various treatments without success, and they were understandably worried.
