EYE MUSCLES – BLESSING OF ALLAH (SWT)
As Muslims, we believe that our body is a great blessing from Allah (SWT). One of the most amazing parts of our body are the muscles that control our eyes. Did you know that these muscles are the most active muscles in our entire body, moving our eyes about 100,000 times per day? They work together in perfect synchronization to allow us to perform complex visual tasks and track moving objects.
Even the phrase "in the blink of an eye" is a real phenomenon - the average blink lasts about 1/10th of a second, and the average person blinks about 15 times per minute, adding up to over 5 million blinks per year. These eye muscles are capable of incredible precision and accuracy, allowing us to move our eyes with pinpoint accuracy and speed.
Not only that, the eye muscles also help us to adjust the shape of the eye's lens to focus on objects at different distances. All of these amazing functions are a testament to the wisdom and blessings of Allah (SWT), who created our bodies in the best of forms. Let us take a moment to appreciate and thank Allah for this wonderful gift by taking good care of our eyes.
