1st Smbbmc Hands-On Endoscopic Sinus Surgery Workshop The course will include lectures, videos and live cadaver dissection demonstration. Limited participants will also have hands-on dissection opportunity

This is a CME accredited activity will take place at ENT Department S.M. Benazir Bhutto Medical College, Lyari General Hospital, Karachi, Pakistan on 16th and 17th March 2016. "I would like to take this opportunity to write to you and express my sincere appreciation for conducting the hands on Cadaver dissection workshop on Functional Endoscopic Sinus Surgery at your prestigious institution.The workshop was a success and was appreciated by the participants.The sessions were so well organized, instructive, and in high standard.The presenters were well prepared and the sessions were well attended.The hands on session was commendable. During the training of Otolaryngology the Hands on Dissection Endoscopic Sinus Surgery Course is a must to do thing to become a safe and competent surgeon. Feeling the need of high time for young otolaryngologist and otolaryngology trainees the department of ENT Head and Neck Surgery, S.M. Benazir Bhutto Medical College, Lyari General Hospital has taken a step to organize the Hands-On Dissection course. In which every hands-on participant will have dedicated slot to dissect one side of nose on a fresh cadaver.
For participants attending theory session only, the series of lectures and live videos will encompass the complete paradigm of Paranasal Sinus diseases. They will also have live interactive access to the dissection of cadaver by master trainer. The eminent speakers and instructors will facilitate the course.

For all participants complimentary pick and drop service is available. Hurry up! to get registered for this CME accredited activity especially for hands on dissection and observer slots as they are limited and will be served on first come basis.

The registration for the workshop is now open, limited seats are available for hands-on dissection and observer, will be offered on first come first served basis.
Complimentary Pick and drop facility is available for all participants
Details of registration fee is as follow
Hands-on dissection: Rs 25000
Observer: Rs 5000
Theory session only: Rs 500

Basic FESS techniques( all 3 passes, injection sites and techniques, Uncinectomy, Middle meatal antrostomy, approach to frontal sinus, anterior and posterio ethmodectomy, approach to sphenoid sinus), Endoscopic DCR, Endoscopic Orbital decompression and endoscopic CSF Rhinorrhea repair
Other than above lectures and video sessions to explain the endoscopic sinus surgery covering almost all aspects of this surgical technique
