ینگ ڈاکٹر اسوسی ایشن جے پی ایم سی یونٹ کے صدر ڈاکٹر شاہد عوان نے اپنی ٹیم کے ہمراہ آج جے پی ایم سی ایڈمنسٹریشن کا ہنگامی دورہ کیا، جہاں ایگزیکیوٹو ڈائریکٹر، جوائنٹ ایگزیکیوٹو ڈائریکٹر اور ڈپٹی ڈائریکٹر سے تفصیلی اور سنجیدہ نوعیت کی ملاقاتیں کی گئیں۔

ملاقات میں واضح کیا گیا کہ پی جی انڈکشن میں ویٹنگ لسٹ پر موجود امیدواروں کو، اگر متعلقہ وارڈ میں جگہ خالی ہو، تو ترجیحی بنیادوں پر اور مکمل میرٹ کے مطابق فوری طور پر لیا جائے۔ اس معاملے میں کسی بھی قسم کی تاخیر یا ناانصافی ناقابلِ قبول ہوگی۔

انتظامیہ کو سختی سے یاد دہانی کروائی گئی کہ ماہانہ تنخواہوں کی عدم ادائیگی ڈاکٹرز کے معاشی استحصال کے مترادف ہے۔ رمضان المبارک کے پیشِ نظر تنخواہیں فی الفور ریلیز کی جائیں تاکہ ڈاکٹرز اپنے اور اپنے اہلِ خانہ کے بنیادی اخراجات پورے کر سکیں۔

جے پی ایم سی کے اندر بڑھتے ہوئے سیکیورٹی کے مسائل، چوری اور بدامنی پر شدید تحفظات کا اظہار کیا گیا اور واضح کیا گیا کہ اگر سیکیورٹی بہتر نہ کی گئی تو اس کی تمام تر ذمہ داری انتظامیہ پر عائد ہوگی۔

ایمرجنسی فارمیسی کی بندش کو مریض دشمن اقدام قرار دیتے ہوئے اس کی فوری بحالی کا مطالبہ کیا گیا، جس پر انتظامیہ نے جلد عملی اقدامات کی یقین دہانی کروائی۔

اس بات پر بھی واضح مؤقف اختیار کیا گیا کہ کسی بھی سیاسی تنظیم سے وابستہ فرد کو ایڈمنسٹریٹو پوسٹ دینا ادارے کے نظم و ضبط کے خلاف ہے اور اس روش کو فوری طور پر ختم کیا جائے۔

بلڈ بینک سے چوری ہونے والی کٹس اور جے پی ایم سی سے چوری ہونے والی ادویات کی انکوائری رپورٹس کو پبلک کرنے کا دو ٹوک مطالبہ کیا گیا تاکہ حقائق عوام کے سامنے آ سکیں اور ذمہ داروں کا تعین ہو۔

انتظامیہ کی جانب سے ڈاکٹرز کے لیے علیحدہ کینٹین بنانے اور ایمرجنسی میں ون پیشنٹ، ون اٹینڈنٹ پالیسی جلد نافذ کرنے کی واضح یقین دہانی کروائی گئی۔

ینگ ڈاکٹر اسوسی ایشن جے پی ایم سی یونٹ انتظامیہ کو یاد دلاتی ہے کہ یہ تمام وعدے تحریری یقین دہانیاں ہیں، جن پر عملدرآمد نہ ہونے کی صورت میں تنظیم آئندہ کا لائحہ عمل دینے میں آزاد ہوگی۔

The Young Doctors Association (YDA) of Jinnah
Postgraduate Medical Centre (JPMC) hereby issues a formal demand regarding the blatant conflict of interest involving Dr. Adeel Samo, who currently holds two contradictory positions: Deputy Director (DD) Admin at JPMC and President of the People's Doctors Forum (PDF), a political association.
The YDA JPMC maintains that the sanctity and administrative integrity of a premier public health institution like JPMC must remain free from political bias.
The dual role held by Dr. Samo creates an inherent conflict of interest that undermines meritocracy, transparent governance, and the impartial welfare of the medical fraternity.
The YDA JPMC, representing the collective voice of postgraduate trainees and house officers, demands that Dr. Adeel Samo must immediately resign from one of the two posts. He may either continue his political career as President of the PDF or serve the institution as DD Admin, but he cannot-and shall not-occupy both chairs simultaneously.

Access to essential healthcare, safety, and fundamental rights are the cornerstones of a just society—values we uphold within our wards and advocate for beyond our borders.

Joint Delegation of YDA Sindh, YDA JPMC, YDA CHK and PMA Sindh Welcomes Newly Appointed Health Secretary Sindh
KARACHI – A joint delegation representing the leadership of the Young Doctors Association (YDA) Sindh, YDA Jinnah Postgraduate Medical Centre (JPMC), and YDA Civil Hospital Karachi (CHK) paid a formal visit today to the office of the Secretary, Department of Health, Government of Sindh.
The delegation met with Mr. Tahir Hussain Sangi (PAS, BS-20) to extend their warmest congratulations on his assumption of the charge as the new Secretary Health Department, Government of Sindh, following the notification issued on February 2, 2026.
During the meeting, the YDA leadership welcomed Mr. Sangi’s appointment and expressed their optimism regarding his tenure. The representatives highlighted the pivotal role of the Health Department in managing the province's medical infrastructure and assured the new Secretary of the medical fraternity’s full cooperation in efforts to improve healthcare delivery for the people of Sindh.
The delegation emphasized the importance of a collaborative relationship between the administration and healthcare providers to resolve pending issues related to postgraduate trainees and medical officers, and to further elevate the standards of patient care in public hospitals.
Mr. Tahir Hussain Sangi thanked the delegation for their kind gesture and acknowledged the vital contribution of young doctors to the health sector.

The Young Doctors Association (YDA) at Jinnah Postgraduate Medical Centre (JPMC) strongly condemns UNOFFICIAL AND IRREGULAR INDUCTION OF POSTGRADUATE TRAINEES (PGS).

JPMC is bypassing its officially published merit list to appoint unqualified individuals, thereby undermining the integrity and transparency of the medical education system at the institution.

The YDA JPMC claims that these irregular appointments include candidates who did not sit for the mandatory entry test and others with scores too low to qualify for either the merit or waiting lists.

The YDA JPMC has adopted a zero-tolerance policy on these practices, arguing that they foster nepotism, demoralize qualified doctors, and ultimately jeopardize the standard of patient care.

The YDA is demanding an immediate cessation of these appointments and strict adherence to the official merit list. The YDA JPMC has explicitly stated its intent to pursue legal action and release proof of the irregularities to the media if its demands are not met.

> وائی ڈی اے، جے پی ایم سی نے ان اقدامات کے خلاف 'زیرو ٹالرنس' (قطعی عدم برداشت) کی پالیسی اپنائی ہے۔ تنظیم کا موقف ہے کہ یہ عمل اقربا پروری کو فروغ دیتا ہے، قابل ڈاکٹروں کی حوصلہ شکنی کا باعث بنتا ہے اور بالآخر مریضوں کے علاج معالجے کے معیار کو خطرے میں ڈالتا ہے۔

آج جے پی ایم سی میں موبائل چوری کرتے ہوئے دو چور رنگے ہاتھوں پکڑے گئے، جنہیں ینگ ڈاکٹرز کی بروقت کارروائی سے قابو کیا گیا۔

واقعے کے دوران ہسپتال انتظامیہ سے متعدد بار رابطہ کرنے کی کوشش کی گئی، لیکن افسوس کے ساتھ کہنا پڑتا ہے کہ انتظامیہ کی جانب سے کوئی مؤثر رسپانس نہیں دیا گیا۔

انتظامیہ کا مؤقف یہ تھا کہ “یہ ڈاکٹروں کا مسئلہ ہے، خود حل کریں، ہم اس میں شامل نہیں ہوتے” — یہ رویہ انتہائی غیر ذمہ دارانہ اور افسوسناک ہے۔

مذکورہ ذمہ داران نے اپنی مدعیت میں چوروں کے خلاف مقدمہ درج کروایا اور باقاعدہ ایف آئی آر کٹوائی۔

یہ پہلا واقعہ نہیں ہے۔ اس سے قبل بھی ادویات کی چوری کے واقعات طلبہ اور ڈاکٹروں کی نشاندہی پر پکڑے گئے، جبکہ سیکیورٹی کا کردار نہ ہونے کے برابر رہا۔

روزانہ کی بنیاد پر ایسے واقعات ہونا اس بات کا ثبوت ہے کہ:
جے پی ایم سی کی سیکیورٹی مکمل طور پر ناکام ہو چکی ہے۔

ہم ایگزیکٹو ڈائریکٹر جناب خالد شیر صاحب سے مطالبہ کرتے ہیں کہ:

اس معاملے کا فوری نوٹس لیا جائے

سیکیورٹی انچارج سے باز پرس کی جائے

یہ وضاحت لی جائے کہ مسلسل رابطے کے باوجود رسپانس کیوں نہیں دیا گیا

ہسپتال میں ڈاکٹروں، اسٹاف اور مریضوں کا تحفظ انتظامیہ کی ذمہ داری ہے، جس میں واضح غفلت برتی جا رہی ہے۔

YDA JPMC Condemns Drug Theft; Demands Full Transparency and Strict Action

The Young Doctors Association (YDA) Jinnah Postgraduate Medical Centre (JPMC) strongly condemns the recent theft of hospital medications. This incident is not merely the act of two individuals but points to a larger, organized network involved in the systematic theft of life-saving drugs from our institution.
The YDA JPMC demands that the hospital administration:
• Publicly release the findings and decisions of the investigative committee.
• Identify and dismantle the entire team involved in this criminal activity.
• Ensure strict legal action and immediate termination for all perpetrators to serve as a deterrent.
We stand for transparency and the protection of patient resources. The administration must act swiftly to restore trust and ensure that hospital supplies reach those in need, rather than being diverted for illegal gain.

The Young Doctors Association (YDA), JPMC strongly condemns the cowardly and violent attack on the clinic of Dr. Ghulam Hussain Tunio, a senior and renowned eye specialist.
The assault on a healthcare facility, involving vandalism and intimidation by organized elements, is a blatant attack on the entire medical fraternity. Such acts of lawlessness compromise the sanctity of the healthcare profession and will not be tolerated.
We demand the following:
1. Immediate Action: The DIG Police and SSP Naushero Feroze must launch an immediate inquiry and ensure the arrest of the culprits involved in this blackmailing and vandalism.
2. Security: Full security must be provided to Dr. Ghulam Hussain Tunio and his staff.
3. Justice: The authorities must recover damages and dismantle the criminal gangs operating in the area.
The YDA JPMC stands in complete solidarity with Dr. Tunio. If swift justice is not served, we reserve the right to announce a future course of action to protect our community.
