Prof. Muhammad Umar’s Lifetime Contribution - State-of-the-Art Education Space at JPMC, Karachi.
Pakistan Orthopaedic Association (POA) is proud to announce the inauguration of a cutting-edge educational facility at the Surgical Building of Jinnah Postgraduate Medical Centre (JPMC), Karachi, made possible through the generous lifetime contribution of Prof. Muhammad Umar, former President of POA, and his family.
This fully equipped education space, designed to accommodate 250 students, is furnished with advanced IT and multimedia gadgets, making it a premier venue for conferences, seminars, and Continuing Medical Education (CME) activities. The facility has been formally handed over to Dr Tariq Mahmood at the Radiotherapy Department of JPMC, Karachi, ensuring its utilization for academic and professional development in the medical community.
POA praises and apprecuates Prof. Umar’s unwavering dedication to orthopaedic education and his family’s philanthropic vision. This initiative reflects Prof. Umar’s lifelong commitment to advancing medical education and training in Pakistan.
