🇵🇰 Happy Independence Day from Compassion Couch! 🇵🇰

On this 78th Independence Day, we remember the resilience, sacrifices, and unwavering spirit that gave us the gift of a free Pakistan.

Just as our forefathers fought for the nation’s freedom, let us strive to build a Pakistan where compassion, unity, and mental well-being flourish for all.

May we continue to support each other, break the stigma around mental health, and nurture a community of care and understanding.

We’re delighted to announce a new collaboration between Compassion Couch, Group Analysis Pakistan (GAP), and Karachi Down Syndrome Society (KDSP).

Rooted in our shared vision of creating safe and supportive group spaces, this partnership will focus on running support groups for the communities we serve. Through this joint effort, we hope to strengthen connections, share expertise, and learn from one another, building on the meaningful change that each organization is committed to within its own community.

At the heart of this collaboration is the philosophy of group analysis - understanding the individual in the context of the social. By bringing group analytic thinking into the creation of these spaces, we aim to foster environments where personal stories and collective experiences can be heard, held, and understood. In doing so, we hope to nurture communities that grow stronger together through dialogue, intersubjective thinking, and mutual support.

Here’s to growing together, fostering understanding, and making a difference where it matters most.
