Myth 1. Brushing harder cleans better!
Fact: Brushing too hard can damage enamel and gums.
Myth 2: Scaling the teeth weakens them!
Fact: Scaling the teeth removes deposits from the teeth and gums, which keeps them clean and healthy
Myth3: Brushing your teeth immediately after eating is good for your enamel!
Fact:If you’ve just eaten acidic foods/drinks, brushing immediately can wear down enamel. It’s best to wait at least 30 minutes before brushing.
Myth 4:Brushing with baking soda is a good substitute for toothpaste!
Fact: it is abrasive and can wear down enamel if used too often
Myth 5: Children don’t need dental care until they have all their teeth
Fact:Kids should visit the dentist as soon as their first tooth appears to ensure proper development and to prevent early issues.
