World Mental Health Day 2025

Floods have once again left millions displaced across Pakistan, over 5 million affected and 1.9 million evacuated in Punjab alone (UNICEF, 2025).
Nationwide, 946 people have died and over 1,000 injured due to flash floods (ReliefWeb, 2025).

Mental health support is not a luxury, it’s a lifeline. Research shows nearly 36 % of flood survivors experience PTSD, and 20 % suffer depression (Yousuf et al., 2023; Ahmad & Uzair, 2025). If you need to read the cited article, please DM and we will share.

Let’s unite to bring hope, healing, and access to mental-health care in every flood-affected area.
🤝 CareForHealth stands with communities in crisis.

At KITCC Kashif Iqbal Thalassaemia Care Centre (KITCC), our passionate psychology students, as part of CareForHealth summer internship program led an inspiring Circle of Care for parents of children with Thalassemia. Through art, heartfelt dialogue, and creative expression, myths were challenged, emotions found a voice, and meaningful connections were built. A beautiful reminder that healing begins with listening, understanding, and creating together.
