The Psychology Clinic provides Counseling and Therapy to individuals of all ages catering to various psychological problems.The aim of The Psychology Clinic is to help and support individuals improve their quality of life and help them adjust effectively as part of the society. We help them identify the root cause of their problems together with their strengths; and enable them to reach their full potential to sustain positive mental health and attain psychological well-being. The Psychology Clinic also aims to eliminate social stigma attached to Mental Health. This is achieved through spreading awareness about psychological problems and disorders. Important psychological factors which contribute to character building, personality and behaviour are all highlighted in the conducted workshops. The Psychology Clinic has a separate branch by the name 'Mind Matters' which is responsible for conducting the above mentioned workshops in multiple Schools, Colleges and Universities. These workshops comprise various topics such as reducing mental health stigma, trending psychological problems, stress management, anger management, substance abuse, depression, anxiety and many other psychological problems. Services provided by The Psychology Clinic:
• Counselling services for individuals with emotional and behavioural problems which are non-clinical but are effecting their daily living.
• Psychodiagnosis and treatment through Psychotherapy for clients (Children and Adults) with emotional and behavioural problems which are clinical in nature. For Adults:
Therapy for stress, grief and bereavement, eating disorders, anxiety disorders (including Obsessive-Compulsive Disorders, Panic Attacks, Generalized Anxiety Disorder, Social Anxiety and Post-Traumatic Stress Disorder)
Assistance with adjustment and coping with life events
Promoting optimal psychological well-being including mindfulness training and self-esteem building
For Children:
Therapy for behavioural, social and emotional problems (including ADHD, anxiety, behavioural management problems, family interaction difficulties, school problems)
Assistance with adjustment and coping with life events
Assisting with developmental disorders and their associated behavioural problems including those with Autism and Asperger’s Syndrome.
• Assessment services and reports for clients (Children and Adults). These include personality assessments and IQ Assessments for academic purposes.
• Conducting Mental Health Awareness workshops highlighting psychological disorders, trending problems and Mental Health Stigma in various Schools, Colleges and Universities.
