Meet Muhammad Sufiyan Riyaz and Muhammad Riyan Riyaz
Twin brothers with cerebral palsy, who have been defying odds and inspiring hearts at Aura since February 13, 2021.

Despite facing challenges after birth, spastic diaplegia, and relying on wheelchairs, these resilient twins are learning to walk with assistance and K-walker, and exploring their creative side through painting.

Their journey is a testament to determination and courage. Starting from scratch, they're discovering the joy of art.

We're sharing their painting videos to spread the love and inspire others. Your encouragement will motivate these young artists to keep pushing boundaries and achieve their dreams!

🌸 A Journey of Hope & Progress – Umaima Ishaq 🌸
Umaima Ishaq is a 10-year-old child diagnosed with spastic diplegic cerebral palsy due to a high-grade fever, possibly meningitis, when she was only two months old, resulting in delayed developmental milestones.
She was admitted to AURA in September 2022 with poor fine motor skills, poor balance and coordination, and was unable to stand or walk independently.
After receiving consistent therapy at AURA, Alhamdulillah, Umaima has shown noticeable improvement. She has developed better fine motor skills and is now able to do paintings on canvas. Although she is at an initial stage, her interest, ability, and continuous guidance from teachers indicate strong potential for further progress, Insha’Allah.

🌟 Visit from House of Habib 🌟

On 30th December, Mr. Usama Manzar, Ms. Erum Mazhar, and Ms. Narisa Paul from House of Habib visited AURA.
They had a pleasant meeting with our Vice President, Dr. Habiba Hasan , General Secretary, Ms. Abida Memon, and Chief Operating Officer, Mr. Saifur Rahman.

✨ Muhammad Kashif Saleem – A True Inspiration! ✨
Muhammad Kashif Saleem's story is one of resilience and triumph.He is thirty two years old cerebral palsy child due to birth anoxia, facing challenges with right hand and both legs involvement, began his journey from AURA 22 years ago with almost no fine motor skills.
Fast forward, Kashif's transformation is inspiring. Working as a paid internee at Aura, he's defied odds. His painting skills have blossomed, showcasing his worth.

Hijab Sakina aged 15 years is cerebral Palsy Hemiplegic child. She takes medicine for fits management, has made remarkable progress at Aura since 2024. She overcame initial drawing challenges and now creates stunning canvas paintings with great composition, color blending, and detail. Her unique style and talent are truly captivating .

✨ AURA Elections 2026–2027 ✨
In the 35th Annual General Body Meeting of Al Umeed Rehabilitation Association (AURA) elections were held on 13th December 2025 and Mrs. Munizeh Ali Habib (President), Dr. Habiba Hasan (Vice President)., Abida Memon (General Secretary)., Shenila Ali Sibtain (Joint Secretary). and Naved Memon as Treasurer were elected for 2026-2027
Additionally 15 members Executive Committee/Board Members were also elected during the Annual General Body Meeting
