Patient: Female, presenting to the OPD with a history of pain in the root canal treated tooth.

∆ Chief Complaint : Mild pain and suspected fracture in the root canal treated tooth.

∆ Clinical Examination:
* Visual Inspection: Evidence of a buccolingual vertical fracture extending from the occlusal surface to the furcation area.

* Palpation: Mild tenderness to palpation in the region of the fracture.

∆ Diagnosis : Vertical root fracture in a root canal treated tooth.

∆ Treatment Plan:
* Endodontic Surgical Procedure: Bicuspidization was recommended to preserve the tooth and alleviate pain. -The procedure involves:
• Accessing the root canal system.
• Removing any residual infection or debris.
•Creating a vertical fracture line in the tooth to divide it into two smaller segments.
• Filling and sealing each segment separately.
• Restoring the tooth with a crown or other appropriate restoration.

∆ Rationale for Bicuspidization:
* Preservation of Tooth: Bicuspidization can often prevent tooth extraction, particularly in cases where the fracture extends into the furcation area.
