Zia has been dedicated to the field of dermatology since 1990. After intensive training at Jinnah Post Medical Graduate Centre and Civil Hospital, Karachi, she acquired her M.C.P.S. degree in dermatology from College of Physicians and Surgeons, Karachi. She has worked in Civil Hospital, Department of Dermatology and Ziauddin Medical University Clifton as a Senior Consultant in the past. Dr. Zia has also acquired vast experience by attending international conferences held in the U.S, Europe and Middle East. She keeps herself updated with the latest procedures by attending international courses. She is one of the few cosmetic dermatologists in the country who has attained fellowship in cosmetic dermatology from the University of Miami, U.S. She also has the honour of being accepted as a member of the prestigious American Academy of Dermatology (AAD) and American Academy of Cosmetic Dermatology (AACD).
