What an incredible journey! From our first steps 8 years ago to this landmark international intensive course, we have successfully bridged the gap between East and West through six premier learning events and a major World Congress.

This week at Tabba Kidney Institute, the energy was unmatched. We moved from deep-dive lectures on complex cases like Bladder Exstrophy and PUV to the high-stakes environment of live interactive surgeries, including Epispadias repairs and Feminizing Genitoplasty.

We closed this intensive chapter with a spectacular Gala Dinner—a night of celebration, networking, and honoring the friendships forged in the OR and the lecture hall.

The Aziz Tabba Foundation was established in 1987 with the aim to provide humanitarian and welfare services as well as medical treatment of the highest standards to the poor and the needy and serves as a testimony to the philanthropic spirit of our forefathers. The foundation is a manifestation of an audacious dream to inspire and facilitate transformative change – a philosophy which is committed to enhance the quality of life of people from marginalized and vulnerable communities. The foundation carries out various activities for the betterment of our society in the areas of health, education enhancing economic prosperity and uplifting the underprivileged. Through such efforts, we strive to bring about a positive change in our society and reform the lives of those in need. One of the key areas of focus of Aziz Tabba Foundation is health care and providing advanced medical treatment in the field of cardiology, nephrology and urology to patients at an affordable cost. Under its patronage the foundation runs Tabba Heart Institute which is a specialized cardiac institute comprising of 175 beds with a primary objective to promote excellence in the field of cardiovascular health. The Aziz Tabba Foundation aspires to facilitate a just, humane and sustainable Pakistan. It is a daunting task but one we consider sacred. We face huge obstacles but are determined to perform social activities in order to serve our communities and ensure the well-being of society. On this auspicious occasion I pray that the Tabba Kidney Institute stands as a beacon of excellence in Pakistan and be a source of deliverance and convalescence for its patients and community at large.

- Tabba Kidney Institute (previously known as Aziz Tabba Dialysis Centre) was started as a dialysis centre in 1995.

- In 2001 it was transformed into a complete nephrology care set-up with inpatient and outpatient facilities and renamed Tabba Kidney Institute.

- In 2010 it has got ISO certified.
