The Executive Director of the Sindh Institute of Cardiovascular Diseases (SICVD), Prof. Dr. Jawaid Akbar Sial, held a productive meeting at the SICVD Head Office with Mr. Daniel Chow, representative of Shimadzu Corporation.

The meeting focused on further strengthening cardiac care infrastructure across Sindh. During the discussion, Shimadzu reaffirmed its commitment to supporting SICVD by providing a state-of-the-art Advanced Cath Lab Machine, expected to be installed within the next two months at SICVD Baldia Hospital.

This collaboration marks another significant milestone in SICVD’s mission to deliver free, high-quality cardiac care to the people of Sindh. The addition of advanced cath lab technology will enhance diagnostic precision and interventional cardiology services, ultimately improving patient outcomes.

SICVD continues to expand its capabilities through strategic partnerships, bringing world-class medical technology closer to communities across the province.

The Sindh Institute of Cardiovascular Diseases (SICVD) Baldia Hospital had the honor of welcoming Mr. Muhammad Hanif Khan, District Governor Rotary Club (2023–2024), Mr. Atiq Qaisar Bhatti, President Rotary Club Karachi Bay, Major Pervez Malik, Secretary Rotary Club Karachi Bay, and (R) Lt. Col. Nazar Abbas during their recent visit to the facility.

The distinguished guests were warmly received by Dr. Muhammad Moosa, Chief Operating Officer, SICVD, who provided them with a comprehensive tour of the hospital. During the visit, they explored various departments including the Emergency Room, Triage Area, Cath Lab, CCU, Non-Invasive Department, and Laboratory, and also interacted with patients to learn about the services being provided.

The delegation highly appreciated the dedication and efforts of the SICVD management and medical teams in delivering free and quality cardiac care to patients across Sindh, and acknowledged the institute’s vital role in serving the community.

As a gesture of support, the Rotary Club representatives donated wheelchairs and a water cooler to SICVD. They also pledged to provide books for the hospital library after Eid and expressed their willingness to continue supporting SICVD’s mission so that more people can benefit from accessible cardiac care.

SICVD values such collaborations that strengthen community partnerships and contribute to improving healthcare services for the people of Sindh.
