Dr. Nauman Zafar Khan

Hello and Assalamoalaikum everyone, I am Dr. Nauman, a graduate of Dow Medical College, Karachi, Pakistan, batch of 1996. After serving for a brief period as a lecturer of Pharmacology, I decided to go on the other side of the table again by become a postgraduate trainee and resident and pursued specialisation in Family Medicine from the Aga Khan University, Karachi. While being there, I passed my MCPS and MRCGP Int. (a degree from the Royal College of UK), after which I worked as Senior Registrar at Ziauddin Medical University, Clifton, Karachi, Pakistan and as Family Physician at the Aga Khan University and as a Medical Doctor at Shell Petrochemicals a Royal Dutch international company.

I moved to the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia (KSA), as Assistant Professor and Consultant Family Medicine and also worked as the Chief Co-Ordinator of the Faculty Development Unit, assistant editor of the international journal of health sciences (a PubMed indexed journal), and coordinator of the employees’ wellness program at Al-Qassim University, Saudi Arabia.

I also represented the college of Medicine in World Federation for Medical Education (WFME) task force sub-committee.

I went to West Virginia University, USA for the second post-graduation in Tropical and Travel Medicine and completed the same in 2012.
