Two months after opening the doors to our newly renovated Karachi Head Office, our colleagues are now fully settled in and making the most of the transformed space.

Designed to support our Dynamic Shared Ownership (DSO) operating model, the new office is helping create a more collaborative, flexible, and people-focused workplace that better reflects how we work at Bayer today.

But the best way to understand the impact of the transformation is to hear it from the people using the space every day.

Watch the video to hear from some of our colleagues as they share what went into bringing the new office to life, and how they are making it their own.

Endometriosis can affect every part of a woman’s life including ability to thrive in her career and lifestyle.

This is the story of Uzma, a fitness trainer whose severe abdominal pain during every menstrual cycle interfered with her training, holding her back from reaching her full potential.

After seeking medical advice, Uzma finally found answers to the pain she had been silently tolerating for years. With the right diagnosis and support, she was able to take control of her health and move forward with renewed confidence.

Stories like Uzma’s should remind us that persistent, unexplained pain should never be ignored and that the right diagnosis can change lives.

If you are experiencing similar symptoms, consult your gynaecologist.

Not all period pain is something you have to live with.
For many women, ongoing discomfort, heavy bleeding, or disrupted routines could be signs of Endometriosis, a condition that often goes unrecognized, yet impacts millions of lives across Pakistan.

As part of our ongoing International Women’s Day campaign, we continue raising awareness about important women’s health topics, with each post in this series focusing on a different topic to help drive awareness and understanding.

Through insights from healthcare professionals, partners, and our own colleagues, we aim to encourage more informed conversations so women can better recognize symptoms, seek timely care, and feel supported in their health journeys.

We often take our sight for granted—until it begins to impact the way we experience everyday moments. This is why advancing retina care requires not just innovation, but continuous dialogue and shared learning, so that more people can preserve their sight.

As part of our ongoing commitment to supporting healthcare professionals and improving patient care, Bayer Pakistan hosted an engaging panel discussion and debate on Diabetic Macular Edema (DME) and Wet Age-Related Macular Degeneration (Wet AMD)at the Ophthalmological Society of Pakistan (OSP) Congress in Multan, held at Al Bakhtawar Amin Medical & Dental College.

The session brought together leading retina specialists from across Pakistan, particularly from South Punjab, and created a platform for open discussion, exchange of clinical experiences, and diverse perspectives on retina management. The session featured insightful discussions led by experienced panelists, chairs, and co-chairs. The debate reflected the value of collaborative learning in advancing patient care.

Through initiatives like these, Bayer continues to support medical education, encourage knowledge-sharing, and work alongside the medical community to improve outcomes for patients living with retinal diseases.

Creating awareness around women’s health sometimes starts with something as simple as a conversation, and this March, our Women’s Health team found a creative way to start several. As part of Endometriosis Awareness Month, colleagues took part in interactive games like crosswords and a roadmap challenge—all aimed at sharing important information about endometriosis, its symptoms, and the treatment impact.

The activities were a reminder that conditions like endometriosis affect millions of women, yet many continue to suffer in silence due to a lack of awareness, or delayed diagnosis. By turning awareness into an engaging activity, colleagues were able to learn about, discuss, and reflect on a very real health challenge faced by women across Pakistan.

To make the activities even more exciting, participants who completed the games were entered into a lucky draw, where three winners received gift hampers.

Small engagements can start important conversations—and every conversation can help someone seek the care they need.

Every year, at Bayer Pakistan we host a balloting session for our annual pilgrimage assistance program for colleagues from all communities. Through this initiative, colleagues from every division of the company are provided the opportunity to embark on the spiritual journey of a lifetime – this is a key component of our commitment to employee well-being. By ensuring that the winners represent the diverse spectrum of our organization, this program fosters a sense of unity and shared excitement across all teams.

This impactful policy is deeply valued by our colleagues, demonstrating Bayer Pakistan’s recognition of the things that really matter, and highlighting the importance of personal fulfilment within a nurturing work culture.

Congratulations to this year’s selected participants! We wish them a safe, fulfilling, and transformative spiritual experience.

52% of women of reproductive age in Pakistan are affected by Polycystic O***y Syndrome (PCOS) - that's more than half of women in this age group! Yet, conversations around PCOS remain limited, which means diagnoses and treatment are also limited. Talking openly and learning about PCOS is the first step toward breaking the stigma and spreading awareness.

As part of our International Women’s Day initiative, we are spotlighting key women’s health conditions. To help raise awareness, we asked healthcare professionals, partners, and our own team members to share insights and experiences to enable more women to better understand the condition and get the support they need.

Endometriosis can sometimes go unnoticed, especially when symptoms are mistaken for “normal.”

This is the story of Alyna, a mother with a young child, who faced challenges while trying to conceive again. Alyna experienced severe cycle cramps, which she believed were just postpartum changes, but they were actually symptoms of endometriosis.

With the right medical advice and diagnosis, she began managing her condition and was able to move forward on her journey to motherhood.
Stories like Alyna’s help raise awareness, encouraging women to listen to their bodies and seek timely care.

If you are experiencing similar symptoms, consult your gynaecologist.

Continuing the recruitment drive for Bayer Pakistan’s Agri Internship 2026 program, our team visited the University of Agriculture, Faisalabad to connect with some of the country’s most promising agriculture students.

During the visit, HR and Crop Science division colleagues met with students and shared insights into career opportunities within the agriculture sector.

Through this internship program, selected students will gain hands-on exposure to different areas of agriculture, including field visits, crop advisory support, sustainable farming practices, product stewardship, and farmer engagement. By working alongside experienced professionals, interns will also see how innovative agricultural solutions are implemented on the ground to support farmers and farming communities.

The internship provides a valuable opportunity for students to build practical skills, gain industry exposure, and contribute to the future of agriculture in Pakistan.
