In December, Bayer Pakistan’s Crop Science division conducted a series of stakeholder workshops in Karachi, Lahore, and Faisalabad, in collaboration with CropLife Pakistan, bringing together key agriculture stakeholders, including regulators, researchers, exporters, and industry experts, to strengthen collaboration across the agricultural sector.

The discussions focused on topics relating to residues on rice crops, including more effective management of pesticide residues by following Good Agricultural Practices (GAP) of crop protection products, which will help ensure uninterrupted rice grain trade and export, support stronger alignment with international regulatory standards, and create a more predictable, enabling environment for all industry players who rely on science-based practices. Through shared dialogue and practical insights, the sessions aimed to support responsible practices that protect market access and minimize trade disruptions while sustaining farmer productivity.

Led by Bayer regional experts Mei Choo Ho, Dr. Ahmad Rosli, and Dr. Sami Lee, the workshops reinforced the importance of science-based approaches and collective action in building long-term confidence in Pakistan’s agricultural exports. We are thankful to CropLife Pakistan and all stakeholders who participated in the workshops.

Approximately 2.2 million women in Pakistan suffer from endometriosis. Although it’s fairly common, the condition takes an average of 6–7 years to diagnose, meaning women endure years of unnecessary suffering.

Bayer Pakistan is working to change that. Yesterday, our Pharmaceutical division celebrated the launch of a new product to add to our existing women’s healthcare portfolio that will benefit women living through this condition.

No woman should have to spend years in pain waiting to be diagnosed and treated. This addition to our portfolio is a step towards earlier answers, better care, and a future where women’s pain is no longer invisible.
With a strong focus on women’s health, Bayer Pakistan remains committed to improving access to new and innovative therapies in Pakistan to enhance quality of life for patients, and to advance the overall health of the population.

Channel Partner Conferences are a bi-annual highlight of Bayer’s Crop Science business in Pakistan. Held back-to-back to cover both our Seed segment partners for the Dekalb brand, and those working in the Crop Protection segment, these conferences are a much-anticipated event for all involved. They are a critical engagement touchpoint between our Crop Science team and the network of channel partners who work tirelessly to serve farmers through every season.

These conferences are designed to serve as not just a platform for well-earned acknowledgement and appreciation of our highest-performing dealers, but also a vital knowledge-sharing and agronomic capacity building through our Dealers Academy program to help prepare our channel partners for the challenges and opportunities of the year to come.

The event covered new launches in both, seeds and crop protection products as well as key initiatives that will help our customers better in today’s dynamic climate conditions.

The 2025 Channel Partner Conference was held in Lahore from November 30 to Dec 2, with two days devoted to each segment. With its ideal mix of engagement, celebration, knowledge-sharing and planning for the year to come, the 2025 Channel Partner Conference was a resounding success that we are confident will reflect in the performance of our partners in 2026.

To celebrate the International Day of Person with Disabilities (IDPD), Bayer Pakistan collaborated with NOWPDP to host a Disability Inclusion Awareness Session at our head office in Karachi. This on-site learning experience introduced colleagues to the fundamentals of disability and inclusion through engaging interactive stalls featuring simulations for physical, intellectual, hearing, and visual disabilities.

It was inspiring to see our colleagues actively participating and gaining a deeper understanding of the everyday barriers faced by individuals with disabilities. Together, we are fostering a more empathetic and inclusive workplace culture.

To show our commitment to this important cause, many of us wore purple today!

Here’s a quick glimpse of our day.

On November 1, 2025, the Bayer Women’s Health team from the Pharmaceutical Division hosted an exclusive pre-congress session ‘Endometriosis Experts Forum’ in Colombo, Srilanka. Prof. Hemantha Senanayake, President of the Asian Society of Endometriosis and Adenomyosis, opened the session. The program included speaker presentations and case discussions, followed by panel discussions that promoted knowledge exchange and collaborative insights on treatment approaches.

This event was a great opportunity for healthcare professionals to connect and share experiences, and to further understand the condition in order to improve patient outcomes.

While surgery can be an important option for some women with endometriosis, it isn’t the first or only approach.

A recent review suggests that medical management should generally be preferred unless surgery is absolutely necessary. Non-surgical treatments are available and can make a meaningful difference in managing symptoms.*

At Bayer, we believe in empowering women to make informed choices and seek supportive care that meets their needs. If you’re experiencing symptoms of endometriosis, talk to your healthcare provider to learn more about the treatment options that may be right for you.

A common belief is that endometriosis can’t be treated - but that’s a myth!

With early diagnosis and the right care, endometriosis can be managed, and quality of life can significantly improve for women diagnosed with this condition.
