محکمہ موسمیات نے سیلابی صورتحال اور بارشوں کے باعث مختلف شہروں میں ڈینگی پھیلنے کے حوالے سے الرٹ جاری کردیا۔ موسمیاتی ڈیٹا کے مطابق اس سال ڈینگی کے شدید ترین پھیلاؤ کا خدشہ ہے۔

ملک بھر میں رواں سال معمول سے زیادہ مون سون بارشوں اور سیلابی صورتحال رہی۔

محکمہ موسمیات نے سیلابی صورتحال اور بارشوں کے باعث ڈینگی الرٹ جاری کردیا۔ رپورٹ کے مطابق کراچی، لاہور، اسلام آباد، فیصل آباد، سیالکوٹ، راولپنڈی اور پشاور میں ڈینگی کا خدشہ ہے جبکہ سکھر، حیدرآباد، ملتان سمیت سیلاب متاثرہ علاقوں میں ڈینگی لوگوں کو متاثر کرسکتا ہے۔

محکمہ موسمیات کا کہنا ہے کہ سیلابی پانی اور ناقص نکاسی آب کے باعث ڈینگی کا ماحول بن سکتا ہے، ڈینگی وائرس پر کنٹرول کرنیوالے ادارے ہائی الرٹ پر رہیں۔

محکمہ موسمیات نے الرٹ میں مزید کہا ہے کہ اسپتال ڈینگی کے حوالے سے اپنے انتظامات کو ہر لحاظ سے مکمل رکھیں۔
