The Whipple procedure, or pancreaticoduodenectomy, is one of the most complex surgery to remove the head of the pancreas, the first part of the small intestine (duodenum), the gallbladder, and the bile duct. It is most often performed to treat cancers of the pancreas, bile duct, or duodenum, but can also be used for other conditions. During the procedure, the remaining organs are reconnected to allow for the flow of digestive juices and bile.

An atrial septal defect (ASD) is a congenital heart defect where there's a hole in the wall (septum) between the heart's two upper chambers. Many newborns with small ASDs are asymptomatic, but larger defects can cause poor feeding, poor growth, shortness of breath, and tiring easily. Small ASDs close on their own but some require surgical intervention, one babies grow old.

Dr. Altamash and Associates are well-known when it comes to providing the best quality dental care for the past four decades. Over the years, we found that there is a great need to expand the medical services, raise the quality standards and bring affordability in the fields of Medicine and Surgery. In pursuance of our mission we decided to broaden our operation by establishing a 200-bed General Hospital in Clifton, Karachi. We aim to provide quality health care by bringing in state-of-the-art equipment and giving affordable services to our patients as we firmly believe in minimizing the pain and eliminating ailments of patients as swiftly as possible. We have 5 well-equipped and fully constructed floors at our hospital, each floor has separate sections and services: Ground Floor Services: Main Reception, Patient Registration, ER, Clinical Lab, Radiological Diagnostics including Ultrasound, X-Rays, OPG, CT Scan, MRI and a 24 hr. pharmacy facility. First Floor: 16 Consultants Clinics, Cardiology OPD Unit includes Echocardiography, ETT and ECG facilities. Physiotherapy, Endoscopic Suite and Ultrasound facilities are also available. Second Floor: General (Medical and Surgical) ward with 80 beds which are fully air-conditioned. We have separate male and female areas. Third Floor: Private rooms & semi-private rooms, Gynae/Obs General ward; Children Ward; 12 Incubator based NICU with dedicated ventilators. Fourth Floor: Operation rooms with CSSD, Surgical and Medical ICUs, 8 bed HDU, labor room with separate delivery rooms. Fifth Floor: Executive Suites, each consisting of two rooms with pantry. Support Services: Standby generators, Fast moving elevators, Central Oxygen Supply, Central Vacuum, CCTV, HIMS, Secure Environments.
