Research Alliance for Advocacy & Development RAAD is a global network of public health professionals who develop and promote evidence-based solutions to address health and socioeconomic inequalities

RAAD is a non-profit organisation operating as global network of public health and development professionals who work in partnership with local grassroots organisations, universities, international NGOs and donors. RAAD's key areas of work are:

1. Developing innovative but low-cost and locally appropriate solutions to public health and development challenges

2. Advocating to policy makers to ensure that funds are spent on evidence-based, effective strategies that reduce health and socioeconomic inequalities in the long term

3. Building research and health delivery capacity in developing countries

RAAD's activities and finances are overseen by five Trustees:
1. Dr. Mishal Sameer Khan, PhD in Public Health
2. Dr. Osman Ahmed Dar, Consultant in Public Health Medicine
3. Dr. Fahad Qazi, Clinical Epidemiologist
4. Syed Shabbar Zaidi, Chartered Accountant and Partner, Price Waterhouse Cooper Pakistan
5. Sadia Khalid Awan, Founding member for The Citizens Foundation

RAAD's accounts are audited annually and made available to the public.
