Unaddressed vision impairment remains a significant public health issue in Pakistan, especially in underserved communities where awareness, access, and affordability of eye care services are limited.
In response—and in alignment with the WHO’s Integrated People-Centred Eye Care (IPEC) approach and SDG Goal 3 (Good Health and Well-being)—we conducted a Vision Screening Camp on 27th June 2025 at Feroz Fatima Girls Campus (The Hunar Foundation).
A total of 120 individuals underwent comprehensive eye screenings, with 60 prescribed distance glasses, helping them take a vital step toward improved vision, learning, and quality of life.
It was an example of effective collaboration between community organizations, educational institutions, and healthcare teams to deliver preventive eye care at the community level.
Heartfelt thanks to our team, volunteers, and partners for making this possible.
