An Awareness Session on Blood Donation and Thalassemia was held on 8th September 2025 at BUET, Khuzdar, organized by the Blood Donor Society, BUET. The session emphasized the life-saving impact of blood donation and the prevention and management of Thalassemia.
The event was honored by Chief Guest Pro Vice Chancellor Dr. Sohrab Bezanjo, with Prof Dr. Zahoor Baloch Dean Faculty of Engineering as Guests of Honor, Dean of Sciences Prof Dr Raza Haider. Esteemed speakers Dr. Abdul Wahid and Dr. Nazia Ijaz, along with Founder of the Society Dr. Engr. Mohammad Dawood Rakhshani, faculty, and students highlighted the need to foster a culture of voluntary blood donation and support for Thalassemia patients.

Upon completion of 1 good year of hard working tenure Chairman Munawar khan has handed over charge to Kashif Nawaz as Chairman of Balochistan U.E.T Blood Donor Society for the year 2024.

بی ڈی ایس کی ٹیم چیئرمین منور خان اور وائس چیئرمین خالد کی قیادت میں خضدار کے ضرورت مند لوگوں کی مدد کا سلسلہ جاری رکھے ہوئے ہے۔ آج سول ہسپتال لیبارٹری کے عملے کی ٹیم کی مدد سے BDS نے بلڈ ٹیسٹ کیمپ کا انعقاد کیا اور مستقبل میں استعمال کے لیے ڈیٹا اکٹھا کیا۔ ٹیم بی ڈی ایس اور چیئرمین منور ہمیشہ کی طرح مدد کو یقینی بنانے پر حمید زہری اور ان کی ٹیم کا خصوصی شکریہ ادا کرتے ہیں۔

*بلوچستان یونیورسٹی آف انجینئرنگ اینڈ ٹیکنا لوجی خضدار کے تعاون سے ٹباّ ہارٹ انسٹیٹیوٹ خضدار میں دو روزہ فری میڈیکل کیمپ کا انعقادکررہاہے جس میں امراض قلب اور بریسٹ کینسر خدشے کے لاحق مریضوں کے ٹیسٹ ، اوپی ڈی اور ان کا علاج کیاجائے گا۔ اس سلسلے میں خضدار ضلع کے مریضوں کو اطلاع دی گئی ہے کہ وہ مقررہ تاریخوں کو اپنے علاج کے لئے فری میڈیکل کیمپ تشریف لائیں ۔*
