Institute of Chest Diseases Kotri The Institute of Chest Diseases Kotri Sindh, formerly called the TB Sanatorium, was established in 1954.

The Institute of Chest Diseases Kotri Sindh, formerly called the TB Sanatorium, was established in 1954 on the hills of Deh Soan Wallhar, Taluka Kotri, the then District Dadu, to cater the health services of Tuberculosis patients of Sindh, adjacent area of Balochistan and Lower Punjab. This 204-bedded hospital was upgraded to the status of Institute in 1989. The ICD is spread over platue of hills on an area of 54 acres to provide neat and fresh air to the patients suffering from Tuberculosis and other chest diseases.
