Psyllium D husk Seed


Psyllium d husk seed consists of last layer of dried ripe seeds of plantago ovataforsk (fam. plantaginacae).

Psyllium dehusk seed that remains after the seed coat is milled off is rich in starch and fatty acids.

Psyllium Dehusking Process- by grinding system to pulverise psyllium with fully automatic feeder to produce mixture and dehusked materials. The process of de-husking the seed consists of crushing with emery mills through eight passes and separation of husk through a closed circuit fully automatic pneumatic aspiration system. The husk is then passed through Gravity separators for further purification before custom packaging.

Psyllium d husk seed is broadly used for animal cattle feeds, mainly for milk giving animals. Due to large amount of valuable medicinal properties, it has provided better results as compared to other cattle feeds, more result oriented for the purpose of milk off-take. Animal Feed :

Psyllium is used as animal feed as it contains large amount of valuable medicinal properties and the 80 percent water-soluble fiber. The large fiber content prevents the sand accumalation in the bowels of the animals in Sandy regions & prevents Sand Colic in Animals. The Psyllium Husk is also used as Horse feed.

In Pigs , Psyllium is commonly added to late gestation and lactation diets to aid in delivery of young pigs and to help prevent udder edema . Psyllium is also used in the area of Nursery nutrition in animals. It also slows the passage through the intestine and enhance the utilization of the nutritional components.

Today many Electrolyte products includes Psyllium to help slow passage through scouring calves and therefore enhance the uptake of the electrolytic salts.

The Psyllium D Husk Seed is broadly used as cattle feed mainly for Milk giving animals. Due to large amount of valuable medicinal properties and a 20% protein content, it increase the milk off-take . It is conducive to intestinal health of these animals.
