Meet Mr Mudassar, a receptionist at The University of Lahore. He was involved in a road side accident a few years back which left the tip of his nose completely distorted and he was not able to breathe out of the right side of his nose.
His septorhinoplasty was performed with good results- his nose returned to its natural form and he could breathe from the right side again.

Meet Mr Salman, he is a web developer from Lahore. He was unable to properly breathe through his nose after a septal abscess (a collection of pus in the septum) caused his nose to collapse.
This was a particularly difficult case of septorhinoplasty as the abscess had nearly completely destroyed the young patient’s septum.

I had the distinct pleasure of performing the septorhinoplasty of Mr Abdul Joshi. Many of you might recognize him. A Pakistani hero and mountaineer extraordinaire, Mr Muhammad Abdul Joshi, is the first Pakistani to scale the treacherous Annapurna peak in Nepal. He is considered a legend in the mountaineering community the world over.
Mr Abdul Joshi came to me whilst I was working at University of Lahore Teaching Hospital. His nose was badly broken during a climbing accident and his major concern was extreme difficulty in breathing. This was very badly affecting his ability to summit mountains.
Mr Abdul Joshi’s surgery was particularly difficult as his septum (the bone dividing the nose into two nostrils) was completely shattered into tiny fragments. Through the use of grafts, I was alhamdullilah able to model a strong, natural looking nose. After the surgery, Mr Abdul Joshi now has good normal breathing through his nose and he was able to continue his mountaineering smoothly. I am truly humbled by Mr Abdul Joshi’s words of praise and wish him the best in his future endeavors.
