28th July 2025 was a very happening day at . The day started with an awareness talk on Harassment at the workplace as per HEC guidelines. Attended it as a faculty member.
Routinely looked over the Pediatric Medical Unit III with ward rounds.
Before the working day ended, we were engaged in a novel regular activity where a very interesting case with a diagnostic dilemma was discussed in the form of a GRAND ROUND. Here, two-way learning was facilitated in a case based learning session. All consultants led by the Head of the Department sat with post graduate residents and medical officers of our ward.
Grand Round will be a regular activity in Pediatric Medical Unit III from here onwards, fostering a learning environment different from conventional bedside teaching.

Had the chance to attend the Impact Assessment meeting on ITRIPP TCV program by GAVI, Agha Khan University, , Lahore Hospital and other stakeholders from Punjab. The vaccination coverage is promising in Punjab. Other provinces need to improve

Had the privilege to travel and deliver a 2-day Master Trainer workshop on Early Detection, Documentation, and Referral of Suspected Child Abuse and Neglect cases in Mianwali.
Mianwali is a beautiful place to visit with vast greenfield, mountain range, and river and water body areas. Met many new people and trained the very best of the region, also learning from their local experiences in healthcare.

Had the privilege to travel and attend a multi disciplinary workshop where three associations (Paediatrics, ENT and Microbiology) sat together to formulate CME modalities for optimization of management of infections in different age groups.

Travel is more fun and meaningful when you are productive as well.

Had the privilege to be invited and deliver an Expert Talk on Childhood Malnutrition Quantification in a clinical setting on the prestigious forum of All Pakistan Nutritionists Congress. it was their 6th Congress and a very well attended one.
Utilized this opportunity to strategically collaborate for capacity building of pediatricians of the Punjab on the subject of Pediatric Nutrition through joint efforts of PPA Punjab and APNC.punjab
