Eid came with its own warmth at the hospital today.
Lunch for the whole emergency and ward teams was thoughtfully arranged by the Boss, a gesture that lifted everyone’s spirits.
Rounds were thorough, patients were seen in detail, and the usual commitment to care never paused.

A Memorable Evening by South Surgical Ward

South Surgical Ward recently hosted a heartwarming ward dinner, an evening filled with gratitude, celebration, and inspiration.

We bid farewell to our dedicated doctors who have completed their tenure with us, celebrating their contributions and wishing them success in their future endeavors. Shields were presented to all outgoing doctors in recognition of their hard work and service.

The night was also marked by the celebration of our ex-residents' achievements, a true testament to the strong foundation and training provided by the South Surgical Ward.

We proudly welcomed our new Senior Registrars. may this be the beginning of an enriching journey under the guidance of our exceptional faculty.

The highlight of the evening was the inspiring address by our esteemed Professor Sahib, whose words reflected wisdom, mentorship, and pride in the ward's legacy. Senior faculty also shared their thoughts, adding warmth and encouragement for all present.

South Surgical Ward continues to set a benchmark not just in surgical excellence, but in building a family of professionals who grow, succeed, and stay connected beyond their years here.

Morning round led by Dr Shahid Farooq, Associate Professor with in depth bedside case discussions engaging both PGs and HOs. Following this, he delivered an in-depth lecture to all ward doctors, focusing on achieving excellence in medical practice emphasizing the effective use of available resources, ensuring the well-being of both patients and doctors and explained how to make a proper usage of the available resources befitting both patients and Doctors.
