Our Looks DO Define Us If that’s all we care about. We strike the perfect pose so that our face looks symmetrical. Zakariyya (عليه السلام) had no idea how Allah (سُبْحَانَهُ وَتَعَالَى) would bless him with a child despite his old age and his wife's barrenness, but he still prayed with unwavering hope.

Yunus (عليه السلام) couldn’t see any way out of the belly of the whale, trapped in layers of darkness, yet he still called upon Allah (سُبْحَانَهُ وَتَعَالَى) with complete trust.

Sometimes, it’s not about knowing how your prayers will be answered; *it’s about believing in the One who answers prayers. Trust Him fully, and pray with a heart full of certainty and faith*.

Because I didn’t have..

What I’m about to give you.

I gifted my eyes after 7 long years of

👉 Anger.

👉 Anxiety.

👉 Self-loathing.

I still remember what I told myself at every step back then..

“I bet she doesn’t feel exhausted every single day like I do. Why is my life such a mess?”

“I hate feeling like this. Nothing ever goes right for me. Not even ONCE.”

At one point I even thought my parents wanted me to suffer. 😂

Man was I a fool.

Because after being a full-time therapist for 10 years..

I KNOW I could’ve ended the suffering in 30 days.
