HEARING AID CLEANING🦻🏽
Regularly scheduled hearing aid cleanings can make a huge difference in the function and sound quality of amplification. Generally speaking, it’s important to visit your audiologist every 4-6 months for a comprehensive hearing aid cleaning and listening check.
During this visit, hearing aid microphones are vacuumed out and hearing aid parts are replaced in the lab, to ensure devices are working their best.
If you’re having difficulties hearing with your devices, it’s time to call your audiologist! In some cases, a full diagnostic audiological assessment may be recommended if the devices are functioning well and further investigation is required.
Hearing care is not a “one and done” visit. Comprehensive care, including regularly scheduled follow up and maintenance appointments, is necessary for success with devices!
