Dear friends, this alert issued by pretty much sums it up. Do go through it. The symptoms and precautions advised by the hospital are of utmost importance. Conjunctivitis is nothing to be afraid of. It is an infection of the white part of the eye known as conjunctiva which can be viral, bacterial or allergenic. It clears up on its own within 1-2 weeks and does not require any injections, or high dose Medications. Your doctor may prescribe eye drops to speed up the recovery. Stay safe, stay up to date according to the latest information and most importantly, stay healthy!!
