●Sweety here likes chewing on random things and was brought to clinic when she was vomiting repetitively and was showing no interest in food. She was diagnosed with bacterial gastroenteritis and is doing great after three days of treatment.

● Myiasis or maggots in wound is infestation of living organisms with fly larvae. Fly eggs laid on moist skin or in wound hatch into maggots that secret enzymes digesting cutaneous tissue.
●Signs include excessive licking and itching, restlessness, loss of appetite and fever. It often goes unnoticed due to thick and long fur.
●Contact your vet immediately if you notice any of these signs in your pet buddies.

Chocolate can be extremely toxic to your pet dogs because it contains methylxanthines (specifically caffeine and theobromine), which dogs cannot metabolize as compared to humans.
Initial signs may include excessive thirst, vomiting, diarrhea and restlessness which may progress to hyperactivity, seizures and coma. Contact your vet as soon as possible if such incidence happens
