اساتذہ کو چاہیے کہ وہ اپنے طلبہ کی تربیت کریں اور والدین کو چاہیے کہ وہ اپنے بچوں کو تربیت دیں کہ وہ کسی ذہنی یا جسمانی معذوری میں مبتلا کسی کا مذاق نہ اڑائیں، خواہ وہ شاپنگ مال، پارک یا ریسٹورنٹ میں ہوں، بلکہ ان کے ساتھ حسن سلوک سے پیش آئیں اور ان کے ساتھ کسی قسم کا امتیازی سلوک نہ کریں۔ آج ورلڈ ڈاؤن سنڈروم ڈے کے موقع پر دنیا بھر میں ڈاؤن سنڈروم کے بارے میں آگاہی پھیلائی جا رہی ہے۔ ڈاؤن سنڈروم والے لوگ بہت معصوم اور دوستانہ ہوتے ہیں، لیکن ہمارے معاشرے میں، ڈاؤن سنڈروم یا کسی اور نیورو ڈیولپمنٹل عارضے میں مبتلا زیادہ تر لوگوں کو bully کیا جاتا ہے۔ جسے شعور کے ذریعے ہی روکا جا سکتا ہے۔
