🔥 Oxygen — life’s double-edged sword!
It fuels your body, keeps Earth alive… but in pure form, it can turn sparks into deadly infernos.
Do you know about the Apollo 1 tragedy? Or how oxygen forms the ozone shield above us? 🌍

Did you know the air around you is mostly nitrogen? 🌍
At 78%, nitrogen is the silent giant that keeps our planet from catching fire, builds DNA and proteins, and powers the fertilizers that feed billions of people. 🌱

From life to industry, nitrogen is everywhere.

🍎 Why do apples turn brown after cutting?
It’s not bacteria — it’s chemistry in action 🧪🔥.
This process is called oxidation, and here’s the cool part: lemon juice can stop it! 🍋

We’ve created a playlist “Chemistry in Everyday Life” to show how science is all around us. 🌍

Meet Beryllium (Be) — an element stronger than steel, lighter than aluminum, and toxic enough to scar your lungs forever.

‎🔬 Used in spacecraft, nuclear weapons, X-rays, and lasers, Beryllium is humanity’s most dangerous double-edged sword.

‎👉 Watch this short and decide — is it our future’s secret weapon, or a forbidden danger too toxic to control?

The ghost of the periodic table: Oganesson (Og, 118). Only a handful of atoms have ever been made, each living ~0.0007 seconds—too short to test in a beaker. So we turn to relativistic quantum predictions: a “noble gas” that might be solid and even reactive. Why keep creating it? Because each atom helps map nuclear stability and pushes chemistry to its limits.

At ~2.17 K, helium becomes a superfluid and flows without friction. It also won’t freeze at 1 atm and is critical for cooling MRI magnets. There’s even interest in helium-3 for future fusion. Watch the 35-sec explainer and follow for more elements!

Hydrogen — the most abundant element in the universe and the first in the periodic table! 🌌
From fueling stars to powering the clean energy future, discover the crazy facts about this tiny yet powerful atom ⚡.

🔍 Did you know? Hydrogen was created moments after the Big Bang, makes up 75% of all normal matter, and could be our ticket to zero-emission fuel! 🌱
