I would like to extend my heartfelt gratitude to all the doctors and colleagues who contributed to making the 10th Shalamar Bariatric Surgical Conference a resounding success.

A special thank you to Prof. Dr. Ghulam Saddique for his continued support and for graciously performing a RYGB surgery.

I am deeply appreciative of Prof. Dr. Zarin and his dedicated team — Dr. Imran, Dr. Spogmai, and Dr. Zia Ullah — who travelled from KPK early in the morning to join us and perform surgery. I would also like to acknowledge my bariatric fellow, Dr. M. Usman, for making the effort to come from KPK.

My sincere thanks to Prof. Dr. Fakhar Hameed, Prof. Dr. Shehzad Alam, Dr. Tahir Yunas, and Prof. Dr. Farooq Afzal for their valuable participation and support.

I would also like to extend a special note of appreciation to Prof. Dr. Mansab Ali (Doctors Hospital) and Dr. Zafar Gondal (IMC) for being an integral part of the conference.
