This client had a severely inflamed eye for many weeks. Because of the prolonged nature of inflammation he developed cataract which almost made him blind.

We had to use specific microscopic tools to access the cataract in order to remove it.

The artificial lens was then implanted successfully.

Uveitis + Cataract = A complex journey to clarity 💎

1. The first image captures a challenging case with posterior synechia and a hidden cataract. Since the eye was not inflamed, we had to get rid off the cataract for vision restoration.

2. Iris hooks are now used to delicately dilate the pupil during surgery.

3. One Month Post-Op: Witness the transformation! The final photo showcases the outcome i.e a clear, round pupil, and an IOL (Intraocular Lens) comfortably resting in place.
